On Tuesday evening all lights failed, on Thursday evening there was a partial light failure. Even with the gear restriction in place, at the last derny race night pacers and riders recorded speeds between 55 and 65 kmh.

As the lights will not have been repaired by Monday, and the temporary lights that are being talked about won’t be in place, we have reluctantly decided to cancel Monday’s derny racing and revert to a standard track league evening.

We are hoping to run a replacement derny evening on 2nd September so put that date in your diary.
